Reservation Process

When you sign up to join a tour, Alaskan Tour Guides will then place a 5 day hold on seats and email your Tour Agreement.

We require a completed and signed tour agreement returned with a 50% deposit to secure the seats.

Your remaining balance (including any added hotel nights and/or excursions) is due 90 days before your tour starts.

Tour Reservation

To reserve seats on a small group Alaska Tour, please first check availability for 2025 Tour Dates. (We will publish tour dates for 2026 in the spring of 2025.) These tours are for travelers of age 13 and above.

After You’ve Booked

Alaskan Tour Guides will send a formal confirmation within 10 days of receipt of your tour deposit. This will include receipts, and additional information, including the password to access our Guest Resource area. This special section of our website is for registered guests, and designed to answer more questions about your tour and the services and care included when traveling with us.

Alaskan Tour Guides will continue to provide quick responses and assistance in making this your Alaska dream trip.

Cancellation Information

Alaska is a land of many extremes, and travel insurance is highly recommended.

Any cancellation is charged a fee equal to 5% of the tour total amount. Cancellations with written notice received 90 days or less in advance of tour start date are non-refundable, regardless of circumstance.

If an activity is canceled by the supplier, (weather related or otherwise) the traveler will be reimbursed with additional activity, or monetary compensation.

Customizing Your Trip

Part of our service is assisting you in making your Alaska vacation package as complete as we can. In many cases we are able to include additional night hotels and excursions for your personal preferences. We provide this as a complimentary service booked with your tour. Any costs associated with add-ons are to be included with the final payment, which is then due 90 days in advance of travel.

Private Tour Quote

For a private tour with 9-13 passengers, we welcome you to visit our family tour page to view available dates and tours. For groups of more than 13 passengers, availability is limited. Please contact us to find out what may be possible for your group. For groups of 8 or less (if all members are age 13 or older), we recommend joining others on a small group tour.
