We have several different family tour packages to choose from, ranging from 7 to 10 days. Family tours can vary greatly in choice of lodging, number of rooms available, and locations visited, so please examine the detailed itinerary before putting in a reservation request for a particular tour. All tours have hotel rooms and main excursions reserved, but leave time for custom activity planning to fit a group’s interests and ability levels. Private tours include a deluxe 13 passenger small bus and tour guide exclusive to your group. Please note that our buses do not travel on unpaved roads. Please review our Covid policy before requesting a tour. 50% deposit is required before tour reservation can be confirmed. Price is per person, and based on number of people sharing a room. Max occupancy per room is 4 people.
Our private tours are designed for private groups ofeight to thirteen. If you would like to reserve one of the specific tour dates listed below for your group of 8-13 people, fill out our request form.

Alaskan Tour Guides is committed to creating a tour for your family that is truly unforgettable. Discover many Alaska highlights, with a few off-the-beaten path visits for a more personal trip. Small group travel allows you to get to places that others can’t. We steer away from the larger tour groups when we visit national parks, unique glaciers and a working sled dog kennel. Therefore, you can enjoy clearer views and a more intimate experience. Don’t stand in the bleachers — get personal time with mushers and sled dogs!
