Pre or post tour options – The first day of your tour is an unguided arrival day. If you have added any extra days in Anchorage, that leaves an unguided day open to either explore Anchorage, or add a day tour to your package. Rates include roundtrip transportation to and from Anchorage. The end date of the summer season varies amongst our suppliers, and not all of these choices are available for every tour. Check with ATG for scheduling questions about excursions.
Denali options – There is time in the evening after your bus tour into Denali National Park to add one of the options shown below. However, if your tour is in mid to late August, choices will be limited due to changes in hours for many activity outfitters.
- Flightseeing in Denali ($449) This small plane tour takes you into the Alaska Range for a flight through the mountains.
- Whitewater rafting ($130)
- Guided ATV tours (starting at $139, depending on machine requested)

Talkeetna options – The group will visit Talkeetna for a few hours to allow time for a flight-seeing tour of Denali with glacier landing. The entire group will have about an hour for lunch, and those that don’t choose to add flightseeing will have another hour and a half to spend in Talkeetna
